A transformation network for the Regensburg region | transform.r

Transformation networks

With around 350,000 employees, the Bavarian automotive industry is a key industry for employment, growth and innovation. Regensburg is one of the strongest growth regions nationwide. Small and medium-sized companies as well as OEMs are responsible for the success to date. However, with the phasing out of the old combustion engine technologies, they are facing major challenges.

New job profiles are emerging, the qualifications required in the future are often not yet known, and recruiting skilled workers is becoming visibly more difficult. To ensure that this change succeeds, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection is promoting transformation networks throughout Germany.

In the Regensburg region, the two clusters "Mobility & Logistics" and "Sensor Technology" are responsible for setting up a transformation network. Under the motto "Getting fit for the future", we offer numerous new opportunities for qualification, cooperation and networking to secure skilled workers in the region. With our activities, we are also addressing the goal of the Free State of Bavaria to be climate neutral by 2040. Furthermore, the topic of "sustainability" is of particular importance in transform.r.
